No More Wasted Time is featured on Freebooksy Oct 23 and 24th!!!
So the first thing that caught my attention–Bora Bora.
“I’m not going to tell the whole story, but I will tell you what I liked–the heroine is in her 40’s and was married for 25 years before her husband died very suddenly. She has 3 grown kids (who actually like her). The hero is 49 and a movie star, meaning he is fabulously wealthy and she can fly around on a private jet with him to all the fantastic places he wants her to see. After hitting it off in Bora Bora, they head to Tuscany, then Greece, then California, then Vegas, then Colorado, then Greece again, and so on. I’ve reread this book a couple of times since I got it and it is, for lack of a better word, very entertaining. Sure beats repeats and Honey Boo Boo on tv by a mile. And then some!”
5 Crown Review for No More Wasted Time
“The first word that comes to mind is “WOW”. I could not put it down until it was finished. It tells a very touching story about living again after a spouse has passed. I was in tears during several parts of the story. The author did a wonderful job bringing me though those tears into a smile during those scenes. No More Wasted Time is a 5 Crown love story!!! If you haven’t read it, put it on your MUST read list now!I award this book 5 Crowns.”

“Beverly Preston’s debut novel shows us what a dynamic and unique voice she has as she takes us on a journey from Vegas to Bora Bora to Europe and back. She paints a picture that makes you believe your there in person. The first line of this book made me laugh out loud. If you’ve ever been to Vegas you will know exactly why this made me laugh.
As I read Tess’s story I wanted to know her so bad and have her as a friend. Watching as she makes this journey to start all over without her husband and knowing her kids don’t need her as much at times made me cry and others made me cheer. This is one of those stories that keeps you reading because you want to see what happens to Tess next and then Tess and Tom. Their journey is one of bravery, love and family, because Tess is a mom. This is something that Tom does a really great job of understanding.
There is so much I want to say about this book but I can’t because I don’t want to give anything away. The journey that Tess and Tom and Tess’s kids go on through this book is a poignant look at what happens when a family member is suddenly taken and how the remaining members move on.
If your looking for a romance that isn’t the typical love story but one that has you cheering for the hero and heroine to have their happily ever after then you can’t go wrong with this story. This is one indie author whose books I will definitely be reading again.”
This book really has it all!
All the characters are totally believable, all the places come to life off the pages and it’s a great that that the main characters are not in their twenties and young and naive.
This book really has it all, it may make you cry, it may make you laugh but hopefully it will leave you glad that you’ve read it and thoroughly enjoyed it like me. I look forward to more Beverly Preston books.” ~ Michelle
A love story that does not revolve around 20 somethings! I loved this book!
“After spending nearly a year in mourning following the untimely death of her husband Tess decides it’s time to truly put Richard to rest and takes his ashes to their favorite vacation spot, Bora Bora, to scatter them in the waters there. While setting up a charter boat to take her out to the place she wants to leave Richard she is spotted by Hollywood heartthrob Tom Clemmins who is vacationing with his ‘date’ at the same resort. Tom is immediately smitten with Tess, sends his ‘date’ packing, and hijacks Tess’s charter so that he can meet her. So begins their story.
The characters in this book all had depth and character and were very interesting, each in their own way. The plot line was strong and I found myself not wanting to put the book down. The authors descriptions of Bora Bora and other locations in the story make we want to not waste any more time and go there to see them for myself.
I look forward to reading many more novels by Beverly Preston.” ~ Renee

“What a fabulous book!!!!!!!!!!!! All the descriptions of all the places the characters visit make you feel like you are there- the bora bora beaches, the Italian coastline, the stateside houses…its all a great package and its a great read!! there is sorrow, sizzling love, sorrow, kids, anger, friendship…the whole 9 yards!! i want to read more by this author!” ~ Cheryl

“Loved this book. I was wanting a good, quickread and this was it! Loved the storyline and for once, thought this could happen in real life, not some made-up fictional world. The parts where Tess was grieving, i felt, the parts where she was conflicted about her pastwith Ricard and her new life with Tom, i felt. The parts and confliicts or hesitations with her kids, were real. It was just a good read from start to finish.” ~ Wendy

Wonderfully written and sinfully naughty! “No more wasted time was a book about finding love twice in a lifetime. Tess was fortunate enough to fall in love and stay in love for 25 years with her husband. But a sudden heart attack took all that away from her. Yet she is blessed enough to find it again with someone very unexpected. One of Hollywood’s sexiest movie stars.
I tend to read a lot of YA but there are times that I need a good adult romance book. And I couldn’t have picked a better book. I really enjoyed reading about Tess and Tom and their chemistry together. They have a VERY sexy and hot together.
No more wasted time is an example of how instant love works for me. Though in reality I wouldn’t take chances with love or dating. But when Tess and Tom did, it worked for them and worked for me. Preston wrote her characters believable. Tess and Tom had tension and they had chemistry. I enjoyed reading the development of their relationship. Tess’ children were also in this novel, which made it more believable. Bora Bora definitely played a part in their sexy relationship.
I really enjoyed this novel. No more wasted time, is a perfect sexy naughty read. No more wasted time gets a 5 stars from me and a definite Good Choice for Reading.” ~ Wanda Good Choice Reading
What a a wonderful book can not wait for the other books. I just wish Tess and Tom could of had a child they had so much love to give. What a wonderful love to give to each other.
Thanks so much, Pam! I’m glad you enjoyed! 😉
